SEO and search-engine signals
Title, description, h1, , , markup. The things that decide how Google sees the page and whether the right visitor finds you on the right search terms.
Speed, from the HTML
What's render-blocking in the head, how many images lack width/height, how many font requests. Not a score, but realistic hints that often matter more than the score itself.
The platform the site runs on
, Wix, Shopify, Squarespace, or something bespoke. The detection tells you what's changeable inside the platform and what isn't, and when switching pays off.
Ready for AI
Whether the site has an , a small file at the root that acts as a map for AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) and points them to the right pages. More and more visits now come from agents reading the web for people, so this is starting to matter.
The top eight things
The output isn't a list of 30 items, it's a ranked report of the eight that matter most, critical first, minor last. You also get a short editorial verdict on whether the site needs a small polish or a fresh build.
Accessibility (WCAG)
Whether the site meets accessibility standards: landmarks, form-field labels, button and link text, and whether it can be zoomed. The full report adds a real Google accessibility score. Accessibility is a legal requirement and decides whether a large group, such as blind and low-vision visitors, can use the site at all.
What this does NOT do
Honesty first: an -only scan can't run browser tests. Things that this scan doesn't cover, and why.
- 01The instant scan doesn't run in real time. The real Google speed test (score + Web Vitals) is added to your report the moment you unlock it with your email.
- 02The accessibility () check is optional and only covers what shows up in the : form labels, landmarks, button and link names, and zoom. Colour contrast, keyboard navigation and focus still need a browser and hands-on testing.
- 03No crawling of sub-pages, we look at the single page you gave us, not the whole site. That's deliberate, the goal is a quick read, not a sweep.
Privacy
We store the you submit, our findings, and the verdict in a database so we can see how the scanner is doing over time. No personal data is kept unless you submit your email voluntarily. You can email us at contact any time to have your data deleted.
